Willy and the misterious woman

Willy was peculiar.

Always sad, ashamed, and pessimistic.

He used to dine in a very popular restaurant.

Between 6 pm and 9 pm, it was very difficult to get a table.

Those who arrived alone often used to sit where they were allowed.

Voices, music, and a rattling of plates and cutlery filled the air.

Some diners, like Willy, came early and stayed late.

Apparently, they enjoyed the hustle and bustle and the music.

Willy sat alone at a table for two, near the front door, but his sad appearance did not invite anyone to sit with him.

A visitor arrived, whose gaze met his, prompting a smile.

Willy, despite his mood, smiled back.

The man sat down with him, and Willy could exchange some banalities.

He lived alone and didn't talk to anyone.

This experience was a spark in his sad life.

Since then he smiled at everyone who came in, and someone always sat with him.

It became a ritual, and Willy enjoyed it.
His life changed.

Now he was jovial and cheerful; all those clouds of sadness, nostalgia, and depression dissipated.

He encountered numerous significant and unremarkable individuals within his city, this way.

He met up to three lovely women; unfortunately, they were just passing through.

However, one day a burly man entered, with a dull and penetrating look, who inspected the place with clear disgust.

He noticed Willy, his search seemingly concluded.

He approached him resolutely.

He came to her table, but he stood up and snapped at him, "She told me you always came here for dinner." "She won't come today."

Willy looked at him in surprise, but before he could speak, the man went on, I know what you have in mind, and it must stop now!

Willy then took courage. — Impossible! He replied. My life has changed; now I am happy, full of hope. The man, now angry, replied, Yes, damned, but she is my wife! —and with a powerful punch knocked Willy onto his back.

A waiter approached him. — Sir, are you all right? — Willy, with a cloudy view and a bleeding nose, replied, I am very well; I am dreaming that a beautiful strange woman that consoles and caresses me.
